52th Congress of the FBE and Conference "Right to privacy in a digital age" - Warsaw 20-22 September 2018
This year, between 20th and 22nd SEPTEMBER, we have the honour and pleasure of hosting in Warsaw the European Bars’ Federation Autumn Congress.
For the accompanying conference, we have selected an important and very up to date topic:
“RIGHT TO PRIVACY IN A DIGITAL AGE”
We believe that the issue of right to privacy, being one of the fundamental human rights, should be considered in a wider perspective than the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) alone, and the conference will include the following panels:
• European challenges in data protection
• Governments and limitation of privacy
• Use and misuse of personal data – horizontal protection against privacy violation
Simultaneous English, Spanish, Italian, German and French translation will be provided.
On behalf of the two Warsaw Bars co-hosting the event we would like to encourage you and your Bar members to participate in this event and also enjoy the atmosphere of Warsaw, which is not only the centre of Polish business and finance but also a place famous of is culture and unique historical inheritance. Warsaw is a city full of museums, theatres, operas, universities but also proud of its new and historical parks and green areas, open air concerts (including world famous Chopin concerts) and festivals. You may also find a great selection of restaurants, bars and cafes and enjoy Warsaw nightlife in clubs and at the newly renovated river banks.
